This Half-Day tour will spend your afternoon by visiting West Bali to visit one of Bali’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites Taman Ayun Temple. Next, we’ll proceed to Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest, a nature reserve with hundred of monkeys and green forest. Our final stop of the tour is Tanah Lot Temple to visit a temple built in the 16th century and located by the sea while enjoying sunset.
Taman Ayun Temple
Bali Taman Ayun Temple is situated in Mengwi Village of Badung District, around 18 km to the west of Denpasar. It is a very beautiful temple, as the name tells (Taman Ayun means temple in a beautiful garden).
In addition to its beauty, Taman Ayun Temple is also considered to have historical values, which makes the regional government of Bali suggests the UNESCO in 2002 that this temple is included in World Heritage List.
Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest
Alas Kedaton monkey forest is one of the best known monkey forest sanctuaries on the island of Bali, which has an area of approximately 6.4 hectares which is inhabited by hundreds of monkeys and large bats (bats). The name Alas Kedaton is taken from the word “alas” which means forest / jungle and “kedaton” which means palace (palace).
Alas Kedaton monkey forest is located in Kukuh Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, approximately 35 kilometers from Denpasar City. Kedaton Forest is a small rain forest which is a sacred monkey forest and is very much guarded by the people of the Island of the Gods.
Tanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot Temple is a tourist attraction in Bali, Indonesia. Here there are two temples located on a large rock. One is located on a boulder and the other is located on a cliff similar to Uluwatu Temple.
Tanah Lot Temple is part of the Dang Kahyangan temple. Tanah Lot Temple is a sea temple where worshiping the gods of the guardian of the sea. Tanah Lot is famous as a beautiful place to see the sunset.
